Divorced Woman Who Killed Her Baby Boy With Rat Poison In Katsina Arrested

A 4-day-old baby boy has been gruesomely murdered by his own mother who fed him with a N40 rat poison. Binta Shuaibu, 20, conspired with her friend, Hindatu Umar, 27, to commit the dastardly act in Dan Amarya village, Danja Local Government Area of Katsina State.

The mother and her co-conspirator are now answering to the wicked act in police custody.

What could make a mother willfully kill her own baby? The suspect, Binta tells her story to Sunday Sun: “I was born in Layin-Ruwa, Kafur Local Government Area of Katsina State. I got married 11years ago and my husband, Inusa later forced me to divorce him. I have only one son, Aminu for him.

“After the divorce, I decided to go into prostitution. The money I got from prostitution is what I use to feed my father in the village. My father had divorced my mother because my mother begged him to allow me to return to my former husband, but my father rejected the advice. My father divorced my mother because of that.

“While engaged in prostitution, I suddenly had an unwanted pregnancy, which I did not terminate. I was able to conceal the pregnancy and successfully had the baby boy delivered in my room.

“The ward head, Maiunguwa in the village where I was doing prostitution had warned all prostitutes not to have unwanted pregnancy, and that anyone who got pregnant must relocate to any nearby village to deliver and care for the baby there.

“But because of the warning by village head, I was at a loss to what to do with the baby and my calling as a prostitute.

“My good friend, Hindatu Umar suggested that since we do not want to stop prostitution, we should kill the baby. We both went into the street and bought rat poison for N40 and used it to kill the baby.”

Asked how the baby was actually killed, Binta said, “It was about midnight that the act was carried out. I told my friend, Hindatu that I would not want to witness the killing of my own child.

“Hindatu was the one who fed my baby with the poison. She forced him to drink the poison. When she wanted to do it, I went into the other room and took a drug, Valium 5 and slept off. I woke up to see that my baby was dead. We wrapped the dead body with clothes.”

News of the heinous crime soon filtered out and the partners in crime were apprehended.

Binta spoke further, “Unknown to us, the ward head had heard about the news that my baby was killed. He quickly went to Danja Police Station, reported the incident and we were arrested by the police.”

In her own confession, Hindatu Umar said, “I am a prostitute. My friend, Binta delivered a baby boy and we have a law by the ward head in the village of Danja that he doesn’t want any unwanted pregnancy and that any of us prostitutes who gets pregnant should leave the village and deliver the baby in the next village.

“We still enjoy our job as prostitutes and so, we both decided to kill the baby. I suggested to her to kill the baby. We went into the street and bought local rat killer and by midnight I gave the baby the poison and he drank the poison and died instantly. I took the container and dropped it in the toilet. Later the news spread and policemen from Danja Police Station arrested us.”

Katsina State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Mohammed Hurdi told Sunday Sun that “it was when the news spread the following morning that the ward head reported the incident to Danja Police Station and this led to the arrest of the two suspects, Binta Shuaibu and Hindatu Umar who are currently at the State CID under investigation.”

CP Hurdi added that the baby had been buried, while the mother of the baby, Binta and her partner, both of whom conspired to commit the murder, would face the wrath of the law.

The commissioner said after investigation had been concluded, the suspects would be charged to court.

The Anambra State Police Command has arrested 38-year-old wanted kidnap suspect, Okafor, a graduate of Mathematics from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. Okafor popularly known as Igwe.What is shocking is, he not only kidnaps but keeps his victim in a church .. Read his story..

I graduated from Unizik in 2006 and I studied Mathematics. I did my NYSC in Abuja and I served in NNPC at Berger. After graduation I was going to Ghana to buy clothes to sell in Lagos State.

I am now involved totally in kidnapping where I make quick money. When I kidnapped I used to take my victims to my church in Awkuzu where the General Overseer, Pastor Nwaezeagu always collects the victims from us and at the end, we would give him his own share. We decided to join the church so that the members would not suspect us that we were keeping some victims we kidnapped inside the church.

I was the one who was involved in the kidnapping of the traditional prime minister in Enugu-Ukwu and we collected N50 million from the victim before we released him and I gave Pastor Nwaezeagu his 20 per cent share on that day.

I kidnapped another woman in Awka and collected N30 million from the family of victim and kept her in the church and, after the family paid the ransom, I released the suspect and I gave Pastor Nwaezeagu the sum of N200,000."

Myself and my gang kidnapped one victim, Chief John Uchachuwu at Asaba and we demanded the sum of N5 million. The family of the victim called me to come and take the money at Asaba. When I got to Asaba I collected the N5 million but the policemen from the anti-kidnap arrested me and they took me to Delta State and put me inside their cell.

He said that he escaped through the toilet of the cell and quickly moved to Anambra State to continue his kidnapping job.

I was arrested in Onitsha market by the men of SARS and I have confessed to them about my involvement in kidnapping," he said.

Anambra State Commissioner of Police, Ballah Nasarawa said the suspect had been declared wanted by Anambra State Police Command before he was eventually arrested on September 2, 2013 in Onitsha.He said Okafor was the same suspect that the Delta State Police Command declared wanted after he escaping from the cell through the toilet in 2013.
He stated that the suspect had kept several victims he kidnapped in the church in which he was a member and which he used as a hideout.

CP Nasarawa added that, besides the kidnap instances that Okafor gave, the suspect was also behind the abduction of the Chairman of Association of Electronics Dealers in Nnewi and collected N30 million that he shared among his gang members and released the victim from the church in which he was kept.

Also commenting about Okafor, Delta State Commissioner of Police, Ikechukwu Aduba said the notorious kidnapper had with his gang kidnapped one Chief John Uchachuwu in Asaba and they demanded N5 million as ransom and the police played along as they negotiated ransom payment. He was told to come and collect the money in Asaba. It was in the process of collecting the ransom that he was arrested.

Tricks Men Play: This Guy Faked Tears Just To Get An Engaged Girl To Sleep With Him

I was in the midst of some guys (all fresh doctors) and there was this particular guy who appeared to be the baddest and randiest (if there's a word like that) of the flock.
He kept chirping about his escapades and apparently he had laid quite a number of girls in my city in just two months of his stay. They all came for a course so as to get accredited/licensed to practice their profession.

So he gave us stories upon stories, but the one that really caught my attention was the one about the lady who he cried for, just to get her to bed.

She also came for the program, was young, engaged and very pretty. He said he got close enough to study her (he became a major part of her day), and by looking at all the angles there was no approach he could possibly use that would work.

So one day after going for lunch, as usual they went to her place and that is where he broke down in
tears telling her; how he felt about her, how beautiful and appealing she was and how it was killing him that he could not just be with her.
He said he cried so much mucus was running from his nose and at first she told him to stop that he did not know what he was saying but he persisted and put in some more lines expressing how she made him feel....
In the middle of everything, she got up thoroughly startled, entered the room but came out few minutes later and told him "just this once".

The hatching and execution of this plan actually took all of two months, but he got the 'prize'.

Now I actually feel it's sick to play with anyone like that, but it's a selfish world....what do you think?

NASARAWA: 30 Killed, 30 000 Displaced, 50 Houses Burn

At least than 30 persons are reported killed in a clash between Eggon and Alago ethnic groups in Obi, Nasarawa State on Saturday. Some 30,000 persons, mostly women and children, have fled to other parts of Nasarawa and the neighboring Benue state due to insecurity.

A communal clash between the Ombatse and Alago tribes of Nasarawa state began on Friday and continued today. The crisis started with the resistance by Ombatse militia to the arrest of their member caught with weapons through a tipoff by Alago youths, and has consumed the entire town of Assakio in Lafia east and part of Obi local government area.

The youth spent Saturday morning attacking Obi village and then they proceeded to Assakio. They spent three hours spraying petrol before starting in both towns without any resistance from security agencies.
In Obi, the resident of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) North Central Zonal Chairman, Yusuf Ayitogo, was razed just like that of a former Commissioner for Agriculture in the state, Salihu Iyimoga. A number of villages had been razed; According to media reports, 50 houses burnt.

The government deployed troops to the area when the police could not contain the situation. A reliable top police source disclosed to Sunday Tribune that over 500 security operatives, including soldiers, riot policemen and other agencies, armed with rocket launchers, were deployed in the area.

For fear of being attacked the local population did not evacuate the plenty of dead bodies that littered Obi.

Witnesses said the fully armed boys moved in a group chanting anti-police slogans and attacking anyone in sight. Then they bolted in motorcycles. Another witness said he saw some boys arrested by the Army and taken away in an Hilux van. Some women and children were seen with their bags and farm produce on their heads as they fled their communities to escape being attacked by the outlawed Ombatse militia group.

Nasarawa State Deputy Governor, Daminishi Luka has summoned a security meeting involving the military, the State Security Service and the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps to brainstorm on the crisis.

The state Commissioner of Police, Umar Shehu, could not be reached for comment as he did not respond to calls to his

What happened was that after Chidi Lloyd used the mace to hit my colleague, he ran away, then the governor came, supervised the beating of my colleague. So, I was running after him (Rotimi Amaechi). That policeman now used the gun to hit me. Take a look at my hand. So I dragged the rifle in anger. I don’t know how to shoot. I was only trying to ask him why he used the gun to hit me. I was only trying to let him know that what he did was bad. Why did he stop me from going after the governor? I was going to meet the governor to tell him that coming to the House to supervise the beating of my colleague was not good.

Why do you call the President’s wife mummy? Are you in any way related to her?
Have you forgotten that she is from Okrika? So, whoever attains the position of the First Lady, what would you call the person? You call her mummy. She is the mother of the nation and she is the mouthpiece of Okrika people. She is the mother of Okrika people. So, every Okrika person calls her mummy.

But you are from Ogu Bolo. Is Ogu Bolo near Okrika, why she hails from?
Ogu Bolo is Okrika. They are all Okrika people. It is like Ikwerre and Obio/Akpor; they are all Ikwerre. It is only the local government areas that split them. So, as an Okrika woman, who has risen up to that position, everybody calls her mummy.

Is that why you also call her your Jesus Christ on earth? What is her role in your life?
People are misinterpreting this Jesus Christ on earth. Let me say this. Man is God to man; it is in the Bible. You must not see God; you will see God through somebody. God said, see me through Jesus Christ. That is why we are seeing God through Jesus Christ. This woman (Patience Jonathan) is everything in my life. She made me what I am today.

Are you talking about politics?
Politically and otherwise; I can say it anywhere. I can say she is my Jesus Christ because she has made me who I am today. That is the truth and I can defend that anywhere. Babangida’s wife was from Delta State. Her people called her mummy. Yar’Adua’s wife is from Katsina, all the people from Katsina call her mummy. Even Governor Rotimi Amaechi’s wife, the people call her mummy. When a woman attains such level, everybody calls her mummy. It is a form of respect to her. But to me, my mummy (Patience Jonathan) is special because she brought me up to this level.

I ‘graduated’ From Kid ROBBER to Notorious Car Snatcher – 29 year old Man

Operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, in Lagos State, have arrested a gang of car snatchers suspected of terrorizing Ikeja and other parts of the state for a long time. The suspects, Sadiq Olayibi, Tolani Adeyinka, Adeleke Teslim and Olayemi Akiloye, met their waterloo when SARS operatives swooped on them at various parts of the state. Olabiyi described himself as a kid robber who graduated to a full blown car snatcher. Also arrested was a 50-year-old woman, Lawal Ireti, who was described as the gang’s informant.

Police sources said Ireti provided other jobs for the gang when they were not snatching cars. According to the sources, the woman suspect provided information to the gang that led to the robbery of the N8 million from a micro finance bank in Ogba area of Ikeja.

“The gang specialized in car snatching and they terrorized Ikeja and environs for a long time. They operated during the weekends and their targets were exotic cars. Their activities gave the police, residents and night crawlers in Ikeja sleepless nights and the state Commissioner of Police, Umar Manko, in his bid to stem the gang’s operation, ordered the officer in charge of SARS, SP, Abba Kyari, to trail and apprehend the bandits.

Kyari, who swiftly swung into action, sent undercover operatives into streets to shop for stolen vehicles. Their efforts paid off when they stumbled on one of the gang members who attempted to sell a stolen Toyota Camry to the undercover operatives. He was arrested and his arrest paved the way for the arrest of other members of the gang including Ireti the 50-year-old woman”, one of the sources told Sunday Vanguard.

The source added that members of the gang got wind of the arrest of their member and they made effort to flee the country. “We arrested Tolani Adeyinka, at the South Africa Embassy, after he had secured a visa to flee the country. Sadiq Olabiyi was picked up at Ajah area of the state, he has also applied for a visa to tavel to Egypt. Adeleke Teslim and Olayemi Akiloye were picked separately at Ojo and Okokomaiko areas of the state,” the source narrated.

Meanwhile, when Sunday Vanguard interviewed the suspects at Lagos State Command Headquarters, Ikeja, they confessed to the crime, but Olabiyi blamed his involvement in crime to lack of prper training. The 27 year-old man said, “I am the first child of my parents. My father did not have a good job, which made us very poor. I was born in Ketu. As a young boy, I used to go to the market at Mile 12 to assist some people selling stolen goats. I usually helped them to offload the goats from their vehicles and, from there, I learnt how to drive.

When I graduated from secondary school, I joined the business full time. I stole several goats, I would travel to some south western states to steal goats. While I was doing that, I met Tolani Adeyinka. He and Adeleke Teslim and one other had started snatching cars then. They knew I was a good driver; so they asked me to join them. We stole a lot of cars together and we operated mostly in Ikeja, Ogba and Agege areas.

We usually struck weekends when fun seekers were on the streets grooving and our targets were mostly Toyota, Honda and Mercedes Benz cars. We had ready buyers all over the state and we would deliver a stolen car to any of the buyers who make the highest bid. We sold Toyota cars for N250,000 and Honda Accord from N300,000. I got between N100,000 and N150,000 after each operation, I spent my money on myself, I bought good clothes, rented an apartment at Ajah and bought a land at Ikorodu, where I am building a three-bedroom flat apartment.

But sometime in July, Ireti brought us a job where we stolen the sum of N8 million from a micro fiance bank. I don’t know the name of the bank but she and a male partner brought the job to us. I thought they were police informants trying to set me up and I ignored their calls from close to two weeks. When I finally met them at a bar in Ikotun they told me that they got my phone number from one of my friends who told them I could do the job.

The job was at Ikeja and they asked us to wait soemwhere for the car conveying the money to pass. Ireti was there to point the car for us. After she did, we followed the car alongn Ogba and double crossed it. I was the one driving. Tolani Adeyinka and Adeleke Teslim bolted out with their guns and they snatched the bag containing the money and all the occupants’ mobile phones before we zoomed off. We shared the money equally, four million naira went to Ireti and her partner and my gang shared the rest. I got one million naira as my own share.”

MAN Arrested For Having S£X With 2 DOGS And A Horse

They arrested him for burglary, but then things got wild.

Back in April, British police picked up Graham Redfearn, 41, on suspicion of burglary. When officers searched his home, they found pornographic videos of the 41-year-old having sex with a mare, and other footage of him having sex with two dogs.

Redfearn told officers that he was "experimenting" and that he'd "just lay on the bed [and] the dog did the rest," according to the Metro.

According to the Shropshire Star, police believe that Redfearn intended to share his videos with others. He "admitted to two charges of sexual activity with a horse and dogs and two charges of possessing extreme pornographic images," the newspaper reported.

In court Sept. 12, Redfearn was banned from owning animals and was "given a 10-year sexual offences prevention order."

Redfearn had also posted Facebook statuses that said he was looking to work with horses and had experience with "stud work."



According to the Mirror, in Shrewsbury crown court, Redfearn said he had beenabused and raped by a German Shepherd when he was 12 years old.

Although the video showed him having sex with the horse, Redfearn avoided jail time because no evidence could be found that the animal was distressed.

Man Stands Trial for RAPING His own Mother in Ekiti State

A 27 year old man, Akintunde Omoteinde, is currently standing trial for allegedly raping his own mother. According to a report by Punch, the sick incident happened on August 23 at their residence at the Ajebamidele area of Ado Ekiti in Ekiti State.

A resident of the area who spoke with a Punch reporter said:

“The news was shocking. Not many of us believed the story at first but the truth cannot be hidden for too long. The woman, a petty trader, was said to have been raped by her son. She was badly injured and was rushed to the hospital for medical attention.

"I can tell you that the family is presently living in shame. We hear that the family members are planning to move out of the house but we cannot confirm that.”

The accused young man was in court this past Tuesday and was remanded in prison custody until October 16th, when the case comes up again for hearing. Rape your own mother? Unbelievable!

Why did you go into pornographic movies?

I did not go into pornographic movies. I reiterate that I am not into pornography and it seems the press and Nigerians are really wishing I did. I started doing regular movies with some sort of nudity or adult content but they kept saying porn, porn and calling me a porn star. I have cleared the air several times in my interviews but I don’t think you guys get it all. Do you call Hollywood movies they show on HBO pornographic? Do you call movies like Basic Instinct, Monster Ball, Savages and so on pornographic? I guess it’s because I am a Nigerian, that’s why. Anyway, since you guys can’t get it, I will just do a hardcore pornography so you can all get off by back.

What have you benefitted from them?

What else is the purpose of going into so-called projects? I guess money and fame? So I benefitted that from them. Case closed.

How do you feel that many Nigerians are not pleased with your brazenness?

Brazenness? Oh no you didn’t! I can’t believe anybody even uses that word. For your info, it’s only about 15% of Nigerians that pretend not to like it but guess what, they chase me around, follow me around, if they don’t really like what I do, why follow me around? It’s only because they are hypocrites.

Can you pose nude for a magazine?

Yes, I can pose nude for a magazine 200%.

What are you trying to actually achieve with your porn movies?

OK, well, if you still call them porn movies, they are not. And I am trying achieve success, money,
fame and a secured future for my daughters.

How old are you now?

I turned 42 in July.

Your ex-husband said he came to Nigeria to marry a hooker. How do you feel about that?

Well, I wouldn’t care about what a disgruntled ex-husband is going about saying. I am not a ‘hooker.’ I have not hooked up with his father, his brothers or anybody he knows before. Every allegation against me is false, merely based on assumptions and hearsay.
I guess you should be asking me how I manage to single handedly raise the children he abandoned me with since 2007. When he abandoned us, he went to Nigeria and sold the home I struggled to build for us. I did not ask him for a dime. He never even mentions that in any interview, yet he has no shame tarnishing my image everywhere, not caring about how the children will eat, survive, cloth or if there’s a roof over their heads. At least I did not walk away like his coward ass.
If he had any conscience, he should be praying for me, not trying to pull me down. As a matter of fact, he has not spent a dime on raising the children since 2007. Fact is, I have moved on and I’m focusing on my career and raising my kids. I guess it’s time to put this nonsense to a stop. And to you press, this is the last time I will entertain any questions that has to do with my ex or broken marriage. An ex is an ex, so please, leave it where it belongs. Thank you!

How do you feel that Beverly Osu has refused your offer of a role in your controversial movies?
